More than 30 jobs will be cut at Wolverhampton City Council next year with dozens more likely to follow, it was revealed today.
A draft budget reveals 20 jobs out of 277 within the council's newly-formed "prosperity" service, which grew out of last year's cull of senior officer posts, will go.
The department deals with issues such as planning, regeneration, environmental health and some highways matters.
The council wants to save £443,000.
