An historic former bakery in the Black Country that closed last year after more than a century of trading is to be brought back to life.

The former Hollands Craft Bakery in Walsall has been taken over by a Cheslyn Hay-based business.

It will reopen next week as Savannah Craft Bakery, creating six new jobs.

CMS Catering Ltd, which runs Cheslyn Hay's Village Bakery, is expanding to take over the site in John Street.

Staff will produce and sell food on site, while also serving breakfast and manning a new stall at Bescot Market every week.
