A mother of two from South Staffordshire who was embroiled in a three-year planning row with her next door neighbour over illegally-built riding stables has put her home on the market for £600,000.

Deborah Vine had been hoping to sell her home in Penkridge back in 2008 before the wrangle erupted with neighbour Tony Wright over the stables, which were built without planning permission.

Mr Wright, the boss of Cannock-based Halsall Electrical, illegally built the stables including space for 14 horses next to Mrs Vine's home.

The matter was first taken to South Staffordshire Council and finally the Government Planning Inspectorate before retrospective permission for the controversial development was granted.
