Relocation plans for noise-row play area

An adventure playground in a South Staffordshire village that is being chained up because of complaints that youngsters are too noisy could be relocated, it was revealed today.

Play equipment in Wombourne is being locked at afternoons and weekends by councillors following complaints from residents that children are shouting when using it.

But councillors today said they would consider moving the Play House playground from its current location in Millfields Way to another site close by.

Funding for a skate park and bike track on that potential site has also been set aside by the authority.
