Thieves have been targeting a Black Country cemetery during a spate of tree thefts.

Around a dozen specimens have been taken from All Saints Church in West Bromwich, just yards from graves.

Church bosses believe the trees are being stolen for fire wood.

Mr David Lord, verger at the church, which is based in All Saints Way said walnut bushes, pine trees and a holly tree had all been taken and he had reported the thefts to local police community support officers.
