£24,000 of washing liquid is snatched

Washing-up liquid and powder worth £24,000 have been stolen during two raids at a Bilston warehouse.

Bold liquid valued at £16,000 and Ariel powder worth £8,000 were taken from a unit in Millfields Road, on Saturday and Sunday.

Police spokeswoman Sarah Astbury said: "If anyone is offered any cheap detergent or sees large quantities being sold, they should think twice."

The first raid took place on Saturday with a second burglary happening between 10am on Sunday and 8.45am the following day.
