The funeral for father-of-three Chris Tolley from Trinity Close, Cannock, has now been arranged, his family said today.
The service will be held at Stafford Crematorium in Blackheath Lane on Friday.
His son Steven Tolley, of Heath Hayes, said that the family hoped his friends would attend and also come along to a wake being held afterwards at the Five Ways pub in Hednesford Road, Heath Hayes.
Mr Tolley, who was 52, was working for sand and gravel suppliers R & J Aggregates, based on the Dewick Industrial Estate in Brocton, near Stafford.
He had previously worked for Pentalver Cannock for more than 13 years. A tyre on his lorry had blown as he travelled on the M54 on Monday morning and he had stopped on the hard shoulder of the carriageway to wait for assistance.
When a repair van arrived he was standing at the rear of the lorry as a second truck hit the van and it was pushed against the lorry trapping Mr Tolley.
He suffered crush injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were injured.
