An eight-year-old boy who drowned at a Wolverhampton pool died as a result of an accident, an inquest jury ruled this afternoon.
Suraj Mall, of Pembroke Avenue, Priestfield, was with his mother and three siblings at Wolverhampton Swimming & Fitness Centre in Wednesfield when he got into trouble in the water.
Other swimmers thought he was playing a game but raised the alarm when they realised he was not moving in February 2008, an inquest held at Wolverhampton's Civic Centre heard.
