Horse loving actor Martin Clunes visited Staffordshire to open a new animal shelter as part of his latest role off the screen.
The Doc Martin and Men Behaving Badly star was at Gartmore Riding School in Hammerwich, near Burntwood, yesterday in his new position as president of the British Horse Society.
The new shelter will be used to provide hands-on experience of animals for the disabled.
