Gary Nelson was the telephone link man behind the multi-million pound operation for more than two-and-a-half years, pocketing up to £300,000 in his role.
The 39-year-old of Cygnet Drive, Brownhills, admitted conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and was jailed at Birmingham Crown Court yesterday.
From his ill-gotten gains Nelson, formerly from Wolverhampton, is believed to have have bought two flats and cars, including a £35,000 Ferrari.
The father-of-three was arrested by police as part of Operation Sorceror – an ongoing probe into the supply of illegal substances across the border.
