Evening parking charges will be scrapped at five city centre car parks in Wolverhampton from Monday.
Councillors have agreed to remove the £2 charge for parking after 5.30pm at Fold Street, School Street, Market, Peel Street and Church Lane car parks.
The charges were introduced last year to the anger of traders and shoppers who feared it would drive people away from the city at night.
