The Countess of Wessex will formally open a hotel in Staffordshire next week.

The Countess of Wessex will formally open a hotel in Staffordshire next week.

Prince Edward's wife Sophie, will open the hotel at Drayton Manor Theme Park near Tamworth in a visit to the county on Wednesday.

The Countess will be treated to a private tour of the hotel, and will meet members of the Bryan family, which owns and runs Drayton Manor.

She will also dedicate a new £30,000 shelter at the National Memorial Arboretum as part of her Staffordshire visit.
