A family fun day will be held at a West Bromwich park to launch a new £900,000 community pavilion.
The structure at Dartmouth Park will be officially unveiled as part of the celebrations of the day on September 25.
The work is part of a £6.3million project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Big Lottery and Sandwell Council.
The new pavilion will incorporate an events room, areas for exhibition and displays, staff offices and public toilets and is part of phase two of the scheme.
It will also include a woodland walk around the outside of the building.
