A Staffordshire town centre bar is seeking permission to open until 3.30am seven days a week following a £100,000 extension.
The application for the Bank Bar in Cannock comes from owner Alastair Payne, with the current licence allowing the venue in Wolverhampton Road to stay open until 2am.
However, the new application involves extending the limit for music, dancing and serving food and alcohol to 3am with closure a half hour later to take effect from October 1.
The application has been lodged with Cannock Chase District Council and can be seen at the licensing unit in the Civic Centre in Beecroft Road. Objections should be in by September 29.
The new extension, in what used to be the bank's vault, comprises a self-contained bar, stage, dance floor, private booths and a smoking garden.
It opened in June and holds about 120 people. Ten jobs were created for bar, door and catering staff.
