Copper theft in Halesowen causes leak

Copper piping was ripped from the wall of a Black Country home, causing a gas leak and forcing five properties to be evacuated.

About eight people were ushered from the rented flats in Malt Mill Lane, Halesowen last night. Residents were allowed back into their houses at 10.45pm.
