Travellers have once again set up camp on a troubled patch of land – removing a concrete block which was installed to stop them.

Eleven caravans have settled on Walsall Road in Pelsall, much to the annoyance of long-suffering residents and councillors.

A concrete block of around 3ft was put in place earlier this year but it has been dragged off to allow access.

The barrier was put ther because the land has been a regular target for travellers over the last few years.

On Tuesday night a convoy of caravans turned up and the block was pulled away. The land is privately owned but it has always been left to Walsall Council to clear the site.bbish left by travellers.
