Stabbing in Wolverhampton street

A 30-year-old man was stabbed in the leg outside a Wolverhampton bar during the early hours of today.

A stretch of Lichfield Street in the city centre remained cordoned off today following the stabbing at about 3am outside Quadrant Lounge.

A window at the City Food takeaway was also smashed.

The victim is from Bilston. A 19-year-old man from Fallings Park has been arrested.
