Wolves bar in Spain is a home from home

But this English bar is almost 1,500 miles away from the Black Country, on the south coast of Spain.
Bar La Notte – Wolves Bar is owned by husband and wife Dave and Gail Smith, who moved over to the holiday resort of Benalmádena on the Costa Del Sol 18 years ago. And since 1994 they have been entertaining Brits abroad who like nothing better than a taste of home while on holidays.
They've also got a big ex-pat following, regularly gathering to watch matches in the sunshine.
Former carpet fitter Dave, who grew up in Bushbury, said: "Me and Gail just fancied something a bit different. We had a look around Spain and fell in love with this place.
"We thought about setting up a bar in England but you're always tied up with a brewery or someone to answer to. Over here you are your own boss. That's what we like."
The bar is open seven days and week and lies only 100 yards from the beach. "We are not leaving any time soon," Dave added. "We love it over here and plan to stay." Dave and Gail, 43, and their children Antonio, 14 and Bonita, 11, return to Wolverhampton when they can to visit relatives.
