Beacon Radio today announced it was moving out of its Wolverhampton home, resulting in potential job losses.

The station has been based in Tettenhall Road since 1976 and employs around 35 people. Bosses today said they were now looking at cheaper, more modern premises elsewhere.

Its West Midlands news team is also set to be reduced, with 10 journalists having to reapply for one of eight positions.
