Gyrocopter in crash landing
A 45-year-old pilot was airlifted to hospital after the gyrocopter he was flying crash landed in a rural country lane in Staffordshire.

A 45-year-old pilot was airlifted to hospital after the gyrocopter he was flying crash landed in a rural country lane in Staffordshire.
The gyrocopter came down in Rykneld Street, Fradley, clipping power cables.
The pilot survived the fall but he had a back injury and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, to have his injuries assessed. His identity has not yet been released.
Chris Kowalik, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said the crash happened shortly before 2.30pm yesterday.
