Celebrity couple Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane were in the Black Country today ahead of their star turn in pantomime this year.

Celebrity couple Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane were in the Black Country today ahead of their star turn in pantomime this year.

The pair, who last appeared together on stage in the city 13 years ago, were at Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre to promote Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Ex-glamour model Linda plays the Wicked Queen, meanwhile Sam, who is best known for his role in TV soap Brookside, will appear as the Prince. Linda revealed the real life married couple were looking forward to returning to Wolverhampton in the winter.

She said today: "I have played Snow White many times but I have been promoted to the Wicked Queen now. It's a good character to get your teeth into." Sam said of the panto: "It's going to be sensational."

Linda and Sam last appeared together at the Grand in panto Robin Hood in 1998.

The Grumbleweeds and Staffordshire's Niki Evans are also returning to the Grand for roles in Snow White, which runs from December 10 until January 22.
