A woman from Staffordshire has been charged with the murder of Brownhills great-grandmother Daisy Myring.

A woman from Staffordshire has been charged with the murder of Brownhills great-grandmother Daisy Myring.

Daisy Myring, 92, was found with a head injury at her home on 31 May. The sprightly pensioner, who lived alone, died of her injuries.

Three people, a woman aged 32, a man aged 40 and a woman aged 36, were arrested in connection with the death.

The 36-year-old woman, from Norton Canes, was charged with murder and is due before Walsall magistrates on Friday.

The others were released on bail.
