Outlandish hairstyles, denim, chains and t-shirts rocked the catwalk at a heavy metal-themed fashion show in the Black Country.
The Home of Metal event was to promote an exhibition of the same name launching throughout the region this month and coming to Dudley Museum & Art Gallery from June 16-September 25.
The exhibition will celebrate the Black Country's place as the home of heavy metal music and will feature vintage t-shirts, archival imagery and films from bands such as Black Sabbath and Napalm Death.
Yesterday's fashion show at Wolverhampton Art Gallery, watched by more than 100 people, featured 30 models parading outfits made by fashion and textile design students from the city university's BA (Hons) fashion and textiles students.
Fashion and textiles lecturer Michael Rutley said today: "The hard work, effort and energy put in by everyone was impressive."
