Two hotels in the Black Country were today up for sale after their owner was placed in administration, leaving more than 100 jobs hanging in the balance.
The Ramada Park Hall Hotel, Wolverhampton, and Ramada Birmingham Oldbury Hotel, Oldbury, are being sold as going concerns.
Both venues were continuing to take bookings today, as bosses blamed the slump in the property market for the move.
The hotels are run by hotels and property firm Fortmere Group, which is based in Brierley Hill. A third Ramada in Kenilworth is also being sold.
The three hotels employ 145 people but administrators at Grant Thornton say there are no immediate plans for redundancies.
