Seven weeks of roadworks are coming to one of Wolverhampton's busiest roads.
Major work is due to start on the A449 Stafford Road at the Vine Island in Fordhouses next Friday to install power cables for the i54 business park.
Council bosses have warned of disruption until July 22 while Western Power Distribution install new electricity cables in Wobaston Road near the island. Lane restrictions will be in force between 7pm and 6am at weekends.
Power cables are also being laid on Stafford Road.
The work is being done ahead of the arrival of aerospace giant Moog at the £67 million i54 business park in Wobaston Road in September 2012.
