Work to expand the Sainsbury's supermarket in Kidderminster, which will create up to 100 jobs for the town, has now started.
The project will see a 13,637sq ft extension to the shop floor including the installation of a new first-floor mezzanine level.
A new glazed customer entrance will also be built while the cafe will be moved to the first floor.
An artist's impression shows what the store on Carpet Trades Way will look like once it is completed.
The redevelopment of the building will take place over the next few months but bosses say the store will remain open during the works.
