No cover-up at city's first naturist hotel

The first naturist hotel in Birmingham is now open.

The Clover Spa Hotel in Erdington is a four-star, seven-bedroom retreat which has a hot tub and a private garden where customers are able to relax and enjoy being naked.

The detached family home has been transformed into the luxury hotel with a difference by owner Tim Higgs. He says there is nothing seedy about the business.

Mr Higgs said he has ensured that the hotel and spa has retained the intimacy and individuality of a private home but provides the peace and tranquillity for naturists who live in and travel to Birmingham.

The rooms cost about £120 a night including breakfast, and the hotel is proving to be popular with people from all over Europe.
