More than 200 youngsters from scouting groups across Stourbridge gathered in the town for an annual parade honouring St George's Day.

Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Guides and Brownies from the town and neighbouring villages marched through High Street and Market Street for the traditional procession.

Proud parents lined up along the High Street to watch as the youngsters were led along the short route bearing the standards of their groups.

Staff working in shops along the High Street also came out to watch the youngsters as they passed by.

At the end of the service they lined up along the route once again to return to the starting point in High Street marking the end of the event.

Among the groups taking part were Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from the First St Thomas group, Amblecote Holy Trinity Scout Group and Wollaston St James Scout Group.

First Pedmore Brownies and Guides and Stourbridge St Thomas Brownies also took part.
