The multi-award winning British hip hop group N-Dubz are playing an exclusive show in Stafford later this month.

The London-based act will be appearing at Couture, in Newport Road, on Friday, April 29 - the same evening they are playing at Birmingham's LG Arena.

The trio, who have won five MOBO Awards since 2007, will be visiting Stafford for their official after show party where they will perform and meet some of their biggest fans.

Justin Fraser, Couture's manager, said: "They will play up to five songs and then, depending on the atmosphere, they might do more. Some lucky customers will then get to meet and greet the band and have their photograph taken with them.

"This particular event is for over 18s only, unfortunately due to licensing laws. We have had a few under 18s interested."

Mr Fraser said he was delighted to bring N-Dubz to his venue for the first time.

The 1,500 capacity venue has been visited in recent month by two-time Brit Award winner Tinie Tempah, dance duo Chase & Status, and up and coming rap star Chipmunk.

N-Dubz, who hail from Camden Town, have had eight top 40 hits on the UK Singles Chart, the most successful being I Need You, which reached number five.

Their debut album Uncle B went platinum selling more than 300,000 copeis in the UK. Their second album Against All Odds also went platinum within two months.

The group consists of cousins Dino "Dappy" Contostavlos and Tula "Tulisa" Contostavlos, who are joined by Richard "Fazer" Rawson.

Tulisa is rumoured to be dating fellow band member Fazer. Dappy hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons last year after N-Dubz appeared on The Chris Moyles Show.

Dappy sent threatening texts to a listener of the show who had sent in text messages that mocked him, and N-Dubz, the same week the Government had used the group to front an anti-bullying campaign.

The show costs £9.99. N-Dubz fans can call 01785 244755 or visit www.couture lesiure.com
