Peppa Pig in Merry Hill show chaos

Hundreds of children were left disappointed today when TV character Peppa Pig was forced to pull out of shows at Dudley's Merry Hill Centre - after getting stuck on the motorway with a flat tyre.

It followed a scramble for tickets which left many upset to find that all 500 tickets had already been handed out. The fiasco got worse when shopping centre staff announced today's shows had been postponed until tomorrow.

Families with children, many dressed as Peppa or her brother George, were disappointed after turning up to snap up tickets — only to be told they had all gone.
