Four men have appeared in court charged with murdering a plasterer who was shot dead at a house in Wolverhampton.

Lee Douglas, aged 31, was shot in the throat and back during a disturbance at a house on the corner of Arthur Road and Wellington Road, Bilston.

Mr Douglas, of Tudor Court, Tipton, was killed at around 12.30am on November 11.

Jahmayne Meade, 23, and his brother Courtney Meade, 20, are accused along with Ricardo Morgan, 20, and Irfan Patel, 23.

The four, who are all from Leicester, were due to enter pleas at Wolverhampton Crown Court yesterday.

But lawyers asked for more time and the case was adjourned until May.

A trial is expected to take place in August and the men have been remanded in custody.
