Bilston's new £3.5 million police station was today officially unveiled by the region's most senior officer.
An official opening ceremony was held at the new building, which has replaced the 170-year-old station in Mount Pleasant, attended by Chief Constable Chris Sims OBE and Police Authority chairman Bishop Derek Webley MBE.
Around 70 staff have already moved into the station from the Bilston East, Bilston North, Ettingshall, Spring Vale and Blakenhall neighbourhood policing team.
The former station is to be put up for sale.
