?Brothers who terrorised families by hurling abuse, playing loud music and throwing missiles in a campaign lasting years, have been hit with anti-social behaviour orders.
Hayden and Nicholas Hawkins made the lives of their neighbours in Pelsall Lane, Rushall, a misery and some were even forced to leave their homes.
The pair trampled on gardens and threw a brick at one home, narrowly missing windows. Music blared out at all times of the day, a sandwich was thrown at a neighbour and objects were thrown at a car.
There were also reports of threats made to residents.
They moved from their mother Janet's home to Somerfield Road, Bloxwich, but continued their loud and insulting behaviour at their new address.
It prompted landlord Walsall Housing Group to seek action and Hayden, aged 21 and 20-year-old Nicholas were yesterday brought before Walsall Magistrates' Court.
A two-day trial had been planned but the brothers accepted three-year Asbos in light of the evidence against them.
The orders prevent them from using obscene language and gestures, playing loud music or acting in a way which would cause harrassment and intimidation.
They were also told not to congregate in groups of more than four people in any street in the borough.
They will be allowed into Pelsall Lane only to visit their mother at restricted times, and they are not allowed to stay overnight.
Hayden, who was regarded as the more serious offender, was given more conditions than his brother including a ban on drinking alcohol in the street anywhere in Walsall.
He was arrested by police in March 2009, for allegedly assaulting a resident, and in July 2010, for allegedly causing criminal damage to a car.
Granting the orders, presiding magistrate Robert Evans said: "For some time you two have caused a nightmare in the community in which you live.
"From now on you behave like normal human beings. You must start showing some respect for other people."
