Cigarettes seized in Bloxwich

Tens of thousands of illegal cigarettes were found hidden in cardboard boxes during a raid on shop in the Black Country.

A total of 34,000 cigarettes and two kilos of hand-rolling tobacco were found in the business in High Street, Bloxwich.

Customs officers said today the revenue loss to public funds was around £7,300. Brands seized on Monday include Jin Ling, Richman, Richman Royal, Gold Classic and Capital.
