New-born baby Lilly Hudgeon sent her mum into a 'blind panic' when she got locked in her car with the keys inside.

The two-week-old was trapped for over an hour, until she was rescued by firemen, who put masking tape on the window and smashed it to free her.

The tiny tot slept through the whole drama at her family's home in Lyttleton Road, Bewdley.

Lilly's mother, Nicola Bourne, aged 32, had put her into her baby seat at the back of the car as they prepared to go out to visit relatives.

She threw her handbag on to the front seat, with the car keys inside but, as she closed the door, the central locking system activated.
