Police plea to find woman in CCTV pictures

These are pictures of a woman police want to speak to in connection with petrol and number plate thefts in the Black Country and Birmingham.

The CCTV images show a white woman in her early to mid-twenties filling a silver Ford Escort with fuel on two separate occasions.

On both occasions the Escort is displaying stolen number plates and left the forecourt without paying.

The first offence took place on November 13 at about 1am at the Shell service station on Bristol Road South, Birmingham.

The number plate displayed on the Escort was stolen overnight between November 12 and 13 from outside an address in Siviters Close, Rowley Regis.

The second offence took place on November 28 at about 4.45am, at the Murco petrol station on Bloomfield Road in Tipton.

The number plate displayed on the Escort was stolen overnight between November 27 and 28 from an address in Bertram Road, Smethwick.

A similar car was also seen at the scene of two number plate thefts on November 23 from Bull Lane and Lawley Street in West Bromwich.

The woman is described as a white female, in her early to mid twenties with long dark hair. She is about 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins tall and of a slim build.
