A bank worker who is accused of stealing £60,000 from customers' accounts at a Black Country bank has appeared in court to face theft and fraud charges.

A bank worker who is accused of stealing £60,000 from customers' accounts at a Black Country bank has appeared in court to face theft and fraud charges.
Selina Watters, aged 34, of Bradley Drive, Willenhall, a personal banker at the Willenhall branch of Barclays appeared at Walsall Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with eight counts of theft from the bank and one count of fraud.
The eight counts of theft she faces allegedly total £42,031, and the count of fraud is said to involve £22,800.
Mr Mukhtiar Ubhi told the court that Watters was not indicating a plea at this stage and the case was committed to Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Watters was bailed with conditions including not to contact customers allegedly involved and to stay away from the Barclays Bank branches in Wolverhampton Street, Willenhall, and Queen Street in Wolverhampton. She will appear at crown court in December.
