This is the moment armed police swooped on house in a quiet Black Country street - the second raid on the home in just four days.
Officers carrying machine guns and battering rams pulled up outside the semi-detached Wolverhampton house in unmarked cars including a BMW X5.
The road was sealed off during the raid, at about 3pm yesterday, and remained blocked off for about an hour.
Neighbours said that police had carried out an armed raid on the same house, in Wentworth Road, Bushbury, on Thursday.
No arrests are believed to have been made, but neighbours today spoke of their shock at the gun drama. One woman, who asked not to be named, said: "This has always been a lovely area and you worry about what's happening. You don't know what's round the corner.
"In all the time I have lived here, over 40 years, there has not been anything and then we have two armed police raids."
She said the the first raid happened on Thursday evening, when police had knocked on doors to tell neighbours it was "nothing to worry about".
The woman added: "I was dishing out the Sunday dinner and saw the police van pull up. There weren't any sirens but they blocked the road off and stopped people going along. It was the same house. A young couple live there, but we have no idea what's going on."
Another neighbour said: "Armed police ran into the house and they were all around the back as well.It comes as a bit of a shock. We don't know what it's about."
Wolverhampton Homes, which manages the city's 23,500 council houses, moved in last night to board up the house.
Police were today unable to confirm the nature of the investigation. It is not thought the raids are linked to the manhunt for the killer of a 31-year-old, who was shot dead at a house in Bilston last week.
The victim, named locally as Lee Douglas, was gunned down at the house in Arthur Street, Bilston.
