Mystery as body is found in Netherton

The body of a man was found on a roadside in Dudley today, prompting a police investigation into the "suspicious" death.

A woman made the grim discovery on a grass verge in Vale Road, Darby End, Netherton, just before 7am.

Forensics officers were this morning at the scene and inquires are under way to establish the identity of the dead man.

West Midlands Police say the incident is being treated as suspicious.
