A gang of 10 is being hunted after four street robberies took place over three hours in Sandwell.

A gang of 10 is being hunted after four street robberies took place over three hours in Sandwell.

The gang struck in Oldbury and Blackheath on October 13 and detectives believe all of the crimes are linked.

Between 8.30pm and 11.15pm one victim was threatened with a knife and another punched in the face as between six and ten offenders aged between 16 and 20 carried out robberies.

In Regis Heath Road, between 8.40pm and 8.50pm, a boy, 16, was punched in the head and his mobile phone was stolen.

Between 9.25pm and 9.30pm, in High Street, Blackheath, a man, 26, was pushed to the ground and his phone and £40 taken.

In Newbury Lane, near the junction of Martley Road, Oldbury, between 10.15pm and 10.20pm, the gang asked a man, 21, for his bike and when he refused he was punched in the face, before they made off with it.

Between 11pm and 11.15pm on a number 120 bus on Broad Street, Langley, a man, 19, handed over his phone and wallet after threats with a knife.

Police believe the gang may have used buses between Oldbury and Blackheath on possible routes 128, 200, 238, 404 and 417.
