The reopening of Wolverhampton's West Park conservatory has been hit by another delay - with the repair bill increasing from £50,000 to at least £70,000.

After the building was targeted by metal thieves last month and workers found the timber to be in a worse state than expected, it emerged it would not reopen by this weekend as planned.

Today it was revealed the opening will be in the autumn.

The cost of replacing the stolen lead has increased from £7,000 to at least £10,000, while the extra repairs will be £11,000 more.
