With a career that spans almost 10 years and reads like a Who's Who of fashion, Birmingham-born international model and beauty blogger Ruth Crilly has been flying the flag for her home town while jetting around the world' s glamorous locations, working for top photographers, fashion brands and magazines.
Now Ruth is returning home to Birmingham to front a major campaign for Birmingham shopping centre, Pavilions.
As the 'face' of Pavilions Birmingham Autumn/Winter 2010/11 campaign she will star in the centre's Hollywood inspired fashion shoots, with clothes from Pavilions retailers including Hobbs, Marks & Spencer and LK Bennett styled in a modern day tribute to the great
Hollywood stars of the 40s and 50s.
She will also be strutting her stuff on the catwalk in a very different role as she takes centre stage to host Pavilions' fashion shows, as part of the Style Birmingham Live weekend on Friday 24th – Sunday 26th September 2010.
Since featuring as a newcomer in a 2003 documentary called 'This Model Life' with fellow Birmingham supermodel Erin O'Connor, Ruth's modelling career really took off and for a few years she remained at home in Birmingham, commuting to London on a daily basis. "Birmingham International at 5am was a regular sight for me but I soon became so busy the only option was to move to London permanently"
