Five generations of her family were on hand to mark the milestone in the life of the woman whose plight as she was forced to leave Underhill House council care home made headlines around the world in January.
Her close friend Cissie Pugh, aged 99, who also had to leave the council care home, was guest of honour at yesterday's party after arriving on Thursday to live alongside her at Bentley Court in Wednesfield.
The Queen sent another card of congratulations and multi millionaire businessman Trevor Beattie, who championed her cause during the fight to keep Underhill House open, arrived with a huge red rose for every year of her life.
Retired New Cross Hospital cleaner Mrs Watts, who went to a Blakenhall care home before being moved to be close to her family, said:"This is a lovely day."
