West Midlands Police spokeswoman Keiley Gartland said: "A man has been detailed in connection with inquiries into the murder of Mr Berry. He has been taken to a police station where he will be interviewed by detectives."

Mr Berry, a plasterer, died from a single knife wound in the chest as up to 30 people clashed on the street between the town hall and Spread Eagle pub.

Wolves fan Mr Berry had popped out of a wedding reception at Bilston Town Hall for a cigarette when he was knifed.
