This is the final photograph of murder victim Tom Berry, taken just 45 minutes before he was knifed to death in a Black Country street.

The father-of-two is a picture of happiness with partner Avril Maxwell as the couple pose at a family wedding reception following the marriage of his cousin.

The devoted family man, who relatives said "adored" his sons Owen, four, and six-month-old Elliot, smiles broadly and hugs Miss Maxwell at the wedding party at Bilston Town Hall.

Less than an hour later the plasterer left the celebrations for a few minutes to have a cigarette outside and was fatally stabbed in the chest by an attacker.

Three other people were stabbed after violence flared in Lichfield Street, Bilston, at 11.40pm.

Today Miss Maxwell, aged 26, who had lived with Mr Berry for five years, made a desperate plea for 22-year-old Ricky Shaw, the prime suspect in the case, to give himself up to police.

Both Miss Maxwell and Mr Berry's father Keith, 58, also pleaded with anyone who could be shielding the wanted man to contact police.

Miss Maxwell said: "My life has been a blur since this happened. You wake up in the morning and for a few moments you feel fine and then the full impact of what has happened hits you again."
