These are the men police are hunting following a violent brawl at a pub in Sandwell.

Two men were left with serious facial injuries following the fight at the Pheasant Inn in Abbey Road, Smethwick.

Violence broke out in the pub at around 9pm on May 14.

West Midlands Police have now released these CCTV images, which were taken in the Pheasant Inn on the night of the assault, in the hope of catching the culprits.

The images show two young men in their 20s wearing tracksuit tops.

West Midlands Police spokeswoman Pav Shergill said: "Two men aged 39 and 37 were assaulted outside the premises at approximately 9pm. One of the men is also believed to have been assaulted earlier inside the pub toilets. Both men suffered serious facial injuries.

"Police are keen to speak to the two men in the CCTV images, who were drinking in the pub on the same night.

"Anyone with any information is urged to contact CID at Harborne police station."

Meanwhile, police have stepped up patrols in nearby Thimblemill Road and Hales Crescent in Smethwick to reduce anti-social behaviour.

Officers said there had been a rise in criminal damage in the area.

Police said they were patrolling the area at key times and "liaising closely with local residents to identify those responsible".
