A pair of dance teachers from South Staffordshire have proved they are strictly the best in the business after scooping the industry's top award for the ninth year running.

Jane and Warren Bullock, who run Zig Zag Dance Factory beat off opposition from across the UK to pick up the title of Supreme Teacher of the Year in London.

The pair were former All England Champions in the 1990s and starred in 25 programmes of Come Dancing - the original version of Strictly Come Dancing - in the 80s and 90s.

"Our success is not only down to us but our whole team," said Warren this afternoon.

"We only use highly-skilled teachers with good standard qualifications in dance. We are very proud of our team who all have great personalities and enthusiasm.

"It is great to be officially acknowledged for the hard work that both our pupils have put into dancing and to once more secure our place as top teachers of the year."

A number of top dancers including the stars of Strictly Come Dancing train at the school, which has bases around the West Midlands teaching Latin, ballroom, rock 'n' roll and street dance.
