Man dies in M6 pile-up

A man died and several other people were injured in pile-up on the M6 in the West Midlands.

Four cars and a pick-up-truck were involved in the crash at 9 o'clock last night on the northbound carriageway between junction 6 at Spaghetti Junction, and junction 7 at Great Barr.

The man who died was in the first car, which hit the truck.

The passenger of the car, a man believed to be in his 30s, had suffered an arm injury.
