A landmark nightclub has been snapped up by a property mogul. The Canal Club in Wolverhampton has now closed its doors ready for a revamp.
The club, located in the former British Waterways Broad Street depot building at the Birmingham Canal basin, is set to be transformed into a "high class" nightspot complete with members-only champagne bar after the buyout, which is set to create jobs.
The club has been bought for a six-figure sum by Wolverhampton-based Dale Investments.
