Thousands of model enthusiasts were joined by fun-seeking families for the annual Shropshire Model Show.
Held at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, the show featured more than 2,000 models of everything from life-size Daleks to miniature aircraft, cars, bikes and trucks.
The biggest-ever Shropshire show bought together the work of 85 clubs from all over Britain, as well as 43 trade stands selling items associated with the world of modelling.
Members of the Aerospace and Vehicle Club Wombourne, which formed in 1964, had a stand displaying models produced by members, including aircraft and historical figures.
Secretary John Turner, aged 58, of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, said the show is a highlight of the modelling calendar for enthusiasts.
"The great thing about modelling is that you learn so much about the history behind the items you are making," he said.
"It's nice to come to shows and see what other people have been doing as well as to display your own work."
